From the demanding battlefields of the United States Army to the immersive realms of dark fantasy romance, Leigh Nightshade has transformed a life of courage, resilience, and perseverance into unforgettable stories that captivate readers around the world.

A 39-year-old retired combat veteran, Leigh proudly served nine years of active military service before injuries brought her military career to an unexpected close. While leaving the battlefield behind marked the end of one chapter, it became the beginning of another. Trading combat boots for a keyboard, she discovered that storytelling could be just as powerful as service offering readers worlds where strength is earned, love is tested, and survival comes at a cost.
